Improve Tracking Accuracy with the C-Band Radar Transponder

Model 25X-X C-Band Radar Transponder

The Kratos Radar Tracking Transponders (commonly called Tracking Beacons) are compact precision augmentation systems for enhancing the tracking capability of radar systems. At only 18 cubic inches, it is particularly suitable for small missiles, targets, and aerial vehicles where weight and space are of a premium.

Available in 20W and 50W models, these solid state modules offer operational flexibility with low modulation pulse voltages, increased reliability, and infinite shelf-life. Providing enhanced pulse parameter capabilities aligned to the latest range requirements. These transponders are field programmable and significantly improve the operating distance of a radar, enhance tracking accuracy, and provide the ability to selectively track a single vehicle out of a group of vehicles. Kratos offers field proven C-Band Tracking Transponders supporting DoD and commercial flight test missions worldwide.
